After a trip to the garage this week I unfortunately don’t have the money to get my Mig back on the road, nor do I have the tools or the knowledge to fix it up myself. :( So hopefully this’ll be a cheap bargain for somebody. Sorry this is a long post, but I want to be as honest as possible.
• She currently starts but is misfiring, I’ve fallen victim to the blocked beathers and so this car now needs plugs, leads, dispack, and camcover gaskets
• She also needs discs and pads front and rear
• Climate bulbs need replacing (new bulbs included)
• Air-con currently doesn’t work
• Three small rust patches, one OSR door at the bottom of the window, and two on the NSR wheel arch
• Bonnet requires two people to open, despite adjustment
• Driver’s seat electric height adjust currently doesn’t work
MOT till November 2010
Current mileage – 101802
Timing belt kit done at 89411 miles
Tread depth Front - 6mm
Rear - 7mm
Spare - 8mm
FSH, manuals/pack/spare key present.
Any questions please ask.
Chris

Wish I'd got £200 :'(, I'd snap it up!

I wish it was a little closer to me or ran so I could drive it home. I'd have it for the doors and other bits especially at that money :y

:( Been trying to borrow £200 all afternoon :'(
So who's the lucky buyer then?
-
Father-in-law... After getting first dibs, he changed his mind this afternoon...
-
I do hope you're going to get him to sign up ;) ;D

Paperclip test also shows code 19 crank shaft sensor and the wadding is coming out of the exhaust but overall its a fabulous car and well worth the money :y
-
Glad you got home alright and that she's gone to a good home :y
All the best with her... :)

Have improved the misfire, took the plenum off and checked for oil...barely any there but the insulation from the inside of the number 6 lead (of course its the bugger to get to!) had come away and was blocking the contact with the plug...couldnt get the plug out as lost my magnet thing and its awkward to get to...but replaced the lead anyway...
Also the bonnet now opens on its own...the padded battery thing was jarring under the little fuse box thats on top of the battery and causing it to be slightly higher than normal and so the bonnet shuts slightly wrong jamming it...
-
I swore and cursed that bloody bonnet!! :D
Keep in touch, let me know how you're getting on with her...

Certainly will do mate, me and the missus really like her :y Now has clear side repeaters on from a facelift MV6 and after testing her out today the gears are definitely not changing up the way they should...top up of the gearbox fluid should sort that I think :y
Thanks, its just what we needed :)

more than likely the selecter switch

Cars sorted...number 6 lead had some tape or something in it blocking the connection to the spark plug. Presumably caused the dispack to fail as replacing the lead and then, as that didnt cure it, the dispack has it running sweet as a nut...
Now it just needs the dispack putting back where its meant to be lol
