I picked up yesterday a Star Silver Facelift 3.0 Elite Saloon which I purchased unseen with the intention of breaking it for parts but after looking at the car and through the receipts i've decided to offer it for sale at £1200. So what do you get for your £1200.
The Elite was first registered on the 1st Jan 2000 and has 2 owners from new, it has covered a total of 100861 miles but this will go up by a couple of hundred miles because I will be using it. Its Star Silver with black leather interior and has the usual Elite extra's, Electric memory heated front and rear seats, rear electric blind, HIDs, Bose stereo, self dimming rear view mirror ect. The reason I have changed my mind about breaking the car is because its in such good condition and has hundreds of pounds worth of receipts with it, there is also 2 keys, a full set of manuals, car pass and the locking wheel nut key, someone has really looked after it and it would be a shame to break but don't get me wrong, its worth more to me in bits than it would be to sell as a complete car.
For £1200 I will replace the cambelt kit with a Contitech kit, a new water pump and 5 litres of long life red anti freeze, the cam cover gaskets will be replaced and the breathers cleaned and there will be new plugs, oil and oil filter, cabin filter, air filter and fuel filter. I will also remove the SIA while i'm there and the car will have a 12 month MOT. There are a couple of minor blemishes and i've taken pictures of them but I haven't cleaned the interior as I don't want to spend too much time on it if no one wants it and I end up breaking it. Feel free to pm me if you want any more info and keep an eye out if you want some spares as it may end up being broken ;)

[size=12][/size]To answer some of the questions I have been asked. The front two tyres have approximately 5 to 6 mm left on them the passenger side rear has about 4 to 5 mm and the drivers rear will need replacing soon. I have spent a little time this morning cleaning the interior and taking some more pics. I was very surprised to find ALL the heated seats work, the rear and passenger front door cards are as new and also surprising is the fact there is no rust on the corners of the rear doors. I'll let the pics speak for themselves.
