Ideally red mini facelift elite V6 auto saloon but will consider anything must have MOT and tax and be driveable. Don't mind identied problems and rust. East Midlands would be a boon however willing to travel.
Operative word is cheap! :y

It's not an Elite, but you DO have the lovely V6 motor, and frankly, it doesnt get much cheaper than this one! It's a lovely car, too.
If I were looking for a cheap car I'd get this, then spend the next few months/years 'Elite-izing' it. It'd be easy to put in some suitable leather, wood trim, maybe a spoiler /replacement alloys and you'd have a very nice car, and not just 'another' Elite (not knocking Elites, don't get me wrong)

I am very soon going to be selling my '98 3L Auto MV6 with black leather interior, 91k. Bodywork typical for year but very good mechanically and EVERYTHING works - and I really do mean everything.
Just passed its MOT yesterday first time with no advisories. Looking for £850.
I'm in central Scotland though so not exactly close.

We have a 98 GLS 2.0l just about mint estate, which I value higher than all these V6's mentioned on here, which is why it is not for sale.......Omega, a hell of a lot of car for the money...... :y
2.0L much more reliable and much cheaper to maintain though..... :D :D
