Drives really really well, doesn’t pull left or right. Really rapid and smooth.
Doesn’t burn any oil between oil changes.
Doesn’t leak any fluids or even lose pressure from the tyres.

Has cruise, Bluetooth handsfree, 4 almost new tyres, Witter dual electric towbar.

It’s a year 2000 model but I put a cheap private plate on to hide its age.
It’s a manual.

Oil changes (I’ve spent a lot on oil and filters!):

Cambelt and tensioners done properly 6,000 miles ago

The bad points

177,000 miles
MOT expires 1 April 2011
Front door central locking solenoids are a bit sticky (I suspect a squirt of WD40 would sort them out, if the door doesn’t lock on the first press of the remote it always locks on a second press).
Just failed the new MOT (one month before old one expires). It has only failed on droplinks and one leaking front shock absorber. So it could be got through for about £80 of parts, in fact if I’d wiped the oil off the shock it would probably only have failed on the droplinks. However, the wishbones are a bit tired and I’d only change the shocks in pairs so to fix the car properly requires 2 x droplinks, 2 x wishbones, 2 x front shocks.

I’m located in Bristol and I’d like £250 for the car. I also need to hang on to it for a week or two until I can buy something else.

That's good news it drives brilliantly, my other car is a BMW and I prefer to drive the Omega, but I have to give Pete first refusal.

If Pete doesn't want it for any reason I'll offer it to the others in order. I'm still trying to find another car and it's quite hard to find something I can live with after the Omega.

It's the soothness and the sound of the V6 I will miss most, along with rear wheel drive.

For me the car needs to be perfect, but I've now got two small kids and I haven't got the time to keep a 10+year old car in top condition.

I also do quite a few miles so I really need better economy. So I'm planning to get a much newer 2 litre diesel, probably a Mondeo (sorry everyone).
