Sadly, having four cars on the drive isn't an option anymore so the mig has to go. This is an amazing car which I picked up two years ago when it had only 15,000 on the clock. It still has less than 50k and drives beautifully.
It's a 2001, 51 plate 3.2 V6 Elite. It had new cambelt, aux belt and water pump fitted by Daz Loo-Knee and Elite Pete when I first got the car. Since then it has had new rear shocks and springs, new front discs and has been regularly serviced by yours truly. Oil and oil filter has been changed every 6000 miles.
This is probably the best car I have ever owned and is a much better drive than my 2007 Jaguar S-type.
It's current MOT expires in May but I'll put it through another MOT in the next few days.
Not sure what to ask for this but I'll pitch in at £2500 and see if anyone bites..

Well spotted Broocie! The plates are still on the car - guess I'd better get them transferred soon.
See you Sunday I hope!!

Looks to be a beauty and in the right colour too! With two on the drive already and SWMBOs Volvo and just bought a caravan I don't think she will let me. :'( :'(
Hope it goes to a good home. :y

I do not normally jump onto sales threads on here with praise but will make an exception in this instance.
Dave does keep his cars well fettled. This one is really quite nice and a worthwhile example of the marque. I will make no comment on the price, however, as that is the business of the seller and prospective buyer.
But it is a good deal at that price, to my eye...

Praise indeed from the big man. Thanks Broocie!
Guess I'll be supplying the single malt on Sunday. :y

sell the jag
My thoughts exactly. Unfortunately the company I work for does not allow cars to be used for business use if they are more than 6 years old. :( Hence buying the Jag.
The obvious solution here would be to resign ;)

Cant recall for sure, but it was less than 2 years ago as I went over and T2'd it at the same time. Miles since, I suggest, are well within the 40k limit, given its total mileage.... :y

Belts have been done twice in the cars lifetime. As H21 says, I had both belts and the waterpump changed in the summer of 2009 at 18500 miles by Daz n Pete. H21 did a few software upgrades (gearbox etc.) at the same time.

As it is indeed a quality car I would very much suggest its a decent price...only thing I would suggest perhaps is that if the timing belt was done at 15k and its now on 46k it only has 9k to go before being due...perhaps for the money it would be reasonable for the car to have a new belt/tensioners on before going to its new owner once sale is agreed??

As I pointed out..... :)

The seller will love you for that, you just cost him £150+ !!
Lets leave it up to the buyer and seller to sort the deal between themselves eh..........?
