Debating with my mate the pitfalls and potential money rip off these may have - any more knowledgeable people give a helping hand before I throw my money away :o

A total waste of money. Bolting a hardryer onto your intake will only restrict the airflow if anything.
For a supercharger to make a decent power hike it needs to generate a significant amount of pressure at the flow rate the engine is demanding at maximum output. This means it needs to be powerful. In some cases 1/3 or more of the engine output is being used just to feed the supercharger. A little fan that looks like it's come off the CPU of a PC will not make the slightest difference and, as I way, will probably just restrict the air intake.

If you read the terms and conditions of the guaranty it states you can have a full refund if you are not satisfied providing you return it unused and in its original packaging HOW THE FU*K DO YOU KNOW IF ITS ANY GOOD IF YOU DONT TRY IT :-? If the company had faith in its product it would offer an unconditional guaranty cos if it did what it said on the tin no one would want a refund

Sounds to me like at best it'll cool the intake air temp fooling the system into thinkinhg its colder than it really is so richen the mixture. I believe there is a £5 ish resistor that'll do the same to your Intake air temp sensor. I can't beleive it would sufficiently increase air pressure above atmospheric to make a difference
Unless you've money to waste i would be very doubtful

But it would be good to tell your mates you have a Supercharged V6 - even if it doesn't work :D

As said if you want to do that stuff a hair dryer up the air intake :D ;D
