I thought that only V6 clocks went upto 160? The speedo should work ok but the rev counter will read false.

Are you sure these are 4cyl clocks?

never said they were, but rev counter dose work on 4cyl did when i tested it :y

Yes, the rev counter will give an indication as its getting pulses, but it will probably only show 2/3's of the correct rpm.

I could be wrong on this, but did fit a 3.0 instrument panel to a 2.2 Sintra once and got exactly that effect, the speedo was fine, but the rev counter showed, for example, 2000 rpm when the engine was doing 3000.

well all i can say is the rev counter as a part is the same number as the one on my car. :y
