Title: V6 Manifold
Post by: star_whites on 13 October 2009, 21:29:18
Ok, I can't stand this clicking any longer. Managed to do 800 miles with it but no more.

Anyone got a drivers side manifold (prefereably without any snapped bolts/bolts included) to suit my 99 3.0 MV6???

I don't think they are the same but have a pair from a 2.6 here in my garage.

the 2.6 are the later manifolds which flow better than the older 3.0 and 2.5 manifolds and think they're a straight swap

I know what you mean, but at least he can offer them up against the originals to be almost 100% they will fit.

Anyway I thought it was the nearside that was a git due to the barstool bolt?

Nope its the drivers side thats the problem as you have to remove the large steel waterpipe that fastens to the rer of the engine to get clear access  :'(

Oh ok, well if they are any good to you, give me a shout as I'm only a few junctions down the motorway from you.
