Title: Engine Mounts Required
Post by: pedroMV6 on 01 November 2009, 11:33:56
I'm after a pair of Omega engine mounts (the silicon filled type rather than the very early rubber ones) for trial fit to a Carlton. I don't want to buy new ones as they may not fit so I'm on the lookout for a free/very cheap second hand pair.

I think I still have some.

Would need to check and do you need the entire mount? And do you need all of them or some? As the weight may become an issue.

Would have come from a 2.6 v6 facelift (if it makes any difference to mounts)

Hi Deviator,

These are for me. I only need the 2 silicon mounts rather than the metal mounting brackets that bolt to the engine block.

Cheers,
BB

OK mate, I'll have a dig around and get some pics back to you. Might take me a day or two as I need to get to the garage in daylight!

Tried to wait until I could get into the garage during daylight, but the world and his wife has kept me away! I have decided to take some pics tonight. I thought I had more, I only seem to have one rubber mount and 2 metal bits like this.....

I appreciate the effort !!! All I need is the one rubber mount - that will do very nicely for my project. Are you happy supply that on it's own?

Many thanks.

Yeah no problem. Although I'll warn you that the postage might be a little high due to weight.
