Title: Omega Sport?
Post by: amigov6 on 04 August 2007, 19:49:54
Running back in truck today i saw a lovely (yes i'm starting to like 'em) facelift in metallic blue.
Did'nt see which model it was but it had a "sport badge" on the front wing near the indicator repeater.   I do'nt know of a sport mig so had the owner added it on? I've got subtle v6 badges on mine but thought facelifts were a bit new to stick stuff on. The lettering even matched the vx badges. :-/

Sport is the Opel version of MV6 - was it a left hooker?

Sport Model came in around 2002

It replaced the MV6.

For some insane reason they put the 2.2 in it, with the MV6 interior and badged it the 'Sport'

Yep, look at a facelift MV6 and they are the same. Although I think they alloys changed slightly late 2002/3, did not look as good as the orginal MV6 facelift ones.
