Or they are far too expensive here!
I need
- The hose that attaches to the breather box on the back of the head, and splits off into 2 hoses that attaches to the breather box on the upper intake.
- the 2 small seals on the nipples of the breather box. These are the ones that slide into the throttle body.
- The o-ring looking thing that goes on the bottom of the breather box on the upper intake. It looks like an o-ring, if you know what I mean. Mine's all smooshed.
- The small black plastic retainers that hold the black plastic wiper cowls down. The dealer here wants $1.50 a piece for them, and I am certain I can get them cheaper overseas!
- 4 new camshaft sprocket bolts. These are TTY bolts and I can't reuse them.
- And finally, the 2 large o-ring seals that go on the thermostat extension tube (the one that goes behind the timing area to the thermo housing). The dealer here claims he doesn't carry them.
If anyone here can get me this stuff, please contact me as soon as you can.... I am almost done getting this back together.

Shoot, just scrapped a car this morning which could have helped you out in return for helping me get a catera centre console :(
Wellung should be able to help you, what he doesn't have aint worth having
-
Awh, that sucks! I would have been glad to grab you a console... there's 4 or 5 Cateras in the yards around here.

How long can you wait? I am looking for another broken one to dismantle.

To be honest? 3...maybe 4 weeks at the most. I've been frantically searching for this stuff and had no luck so far.

Updated list...

If you look at the "how to" on cleaning the V6 breathers Click Here (http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1152598350)
and also the one for changing the cam cover gaskets Click Here (http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1152564281)
You should find the part numbers for the bits you are after, then you need to contact AndyC on here (see his post at the very end of this topic Click Here (http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1282144532/12#12) and you can PM him from that)
He is a Vauxhall parts man (and top bloke) and does mail order, just make sure you tell him you're in the US.
And slightly off topic...

What's different about Catera ones?
-
HI there i may be able to help as my man rebuilt a 3.0 v6 and has a few bits kicking about spare, not sure of all the bits your talking of but he has everything apart from the block, and i am dying for a centre console from a catera with the slide out cup holder, cheers Kack

Ooh.... well I hate to say this, but those cupholders are flimsy junk. I fact, I was searching for a good one for my Catera, and all of them in the junk yards were broken.
Oh, and thanks for the heads up on the o-rings for the breather, I'll PM him and see if he has them.
-
Bump! Still need this stuff to finish up. I PM'ed AndyC, but he hasn't replied yet.

Don't worry he'll get back to you - he's a busy man!
-
If the items arent too big I can get the wife to take them across and send in the US postal system. Might save you a few bob, would save you more if you can pick them up from Chicago :y
-
Alrighty... I'll wait for him to reply. I'm really not in a hurry anyways, I still don't have my timing belt kit or a water pump. I've yet to order them
But I will update the list...
- The small black plastic retainers that hold the black plastic wiper cowls down. The dealer here wants $1.50 a piece for them, and I am certain I can get them cheaper overseas!
- 4 new camshaft sprocket bolts. These are TTY bolts and I can't reuse them.
-
List change....
All I need now is the cam sprocket bolts.
I found the cowl holddown things at the junkyard..... 50cents for 15 of them!
-
Glad you got sorted out in the end. :y
-
Yeah, I can't believe I found all that stuff that I needed. The cam bolts are the only thing I can't find. I know they have to be available since they are torque to yield and can't be reused.
Can anyone here confirm that this is the part number for the Cam gear bolts?
90573287

Adding one more thing.....
Exhaust donut gaskets (Ones that go between manifold and downpipe).... they are ungodly expensive here.
-
Alrighty... well all I need now is the exhaust flange gaskets ($14 USD a piece here!). I found the cam gear bolts at a local import shop..... he happened to have 2 sets of 4 there because someone had requested them in the past for a Catera. Only $4 USD per bolt.
-
Are you still after an Opel grill for your Cat? I have one here if you fancy a swop ;)
-
I certainly would like a Opel grille. However someone told me that the Catera grille is larger and needs bumper modifications, but I'm not sure on that... If you measure the Opel grille and take a picture, I'll do the same.
