Title: urgently needed
Post by: erubus on 05 September 2010, 11:06:15
Hi there guys. As i can't post in the wanted section I'm gonna have to post here.  I desperatly need a brake servo pipe for my 2 litre omega.  Can anyone help me out?  This is the last thing i have to try to get my omega running before it ends up going to the scrappies (as with every omega i've had, will be before it's even paid for)  failing that it'll need a new engine, but as that's well outside my budget (taking a big wage cut from next week) this is kinda the last chance saloon.

I pulled the existing servo pipe out and blocked the hole with my finger and it ran much better.  still not perfect but it's at least a start, seemed like it would at least be useable and mot-able

cheers gill

Is one off a 3L any good?

Got one here - I would imagine they're all the same.

cheers for the offer but i don't think one off a v6 would fit.  it's a pretty rigid pipe so would need to be the right one, although if it connects to the drivers side manifold it might just connect...

Can you see any part number on the pipe? Then you and SJC can compare the items...

Ah, sorry.  I misread you post and thought it was the servo unit you were after not the pipe.  And you're right, it defo won't fit.

no problem.  thanks anyway.

While i'm at it, I would also consider buying a complete X20XEV engine if it was close enough. might be easier than trying to get to the bottom of this one's problems!
