Title: 97 2.5v6 engine loom needed
Post by: vauxfan2k on 13 October 2010, 19:13:47
As above, to fit a 97 model v6, maybe 3.0 is same not sure, I have a 95 loom spare but the sensor connections are different for the cam sensors, dont want to butcher connections so a complete loom would be nice. not sure if it makes any odds but needs to be for a manual.

thanks  :)

I have one from a '99 3.0 auto.
Usually the looms have a sticker attached with a partnumber printed on them, I'll have a look...

how about just changing the sensors instead ? it might be easier

either way id have to change the loom and its easier to change just the loom than the loom AND the sensors.

this way Im certain it will work, its all basically down to a damaged loom connector to the main harness, got wrecked when the previous owner swapped out the engine.

It looks like you will need one from a manual vehicle (90566288), the p no. on mine is 90566289.

If you want mine just to butcher the connections then I'll knock a third off the asking price...
