Title: [WANTED] Headlights
Post by: Dany on 25 October 2010, 10:17:31
Hi all!

I'm after two front XENON headlights in good condition for my Facelift saloon, as the chromed supports inside are broken and moves in... The headlights can comes without ballast's, mines works great.

Anyone know where can I find some cheap ones? Or a way to repair mines?  ::)

I have received the pair of alu adjusters yesterday morning! Very good quality finish!
I will do the job may be this evening but I don't know which glue I must use? I have glue silicone for aquarium, that can be good?

That`ll do Dany. You might be lucky and not need any when you re-seat the lens

Daby, don't forget that you need right-hand traffic headlamp lenses for a left-hand drive car.

He thinks you are getting new headlights, but you have only replaced the adjusters on yours.

Ah ok, thanks for the translation lol. Yeah only replaced the adjuster, only one side at this time, I will see if this glue holds out...

Just a question... Before applying the new glue, do you remove the black old one on the headlight? For the other side, I think I will do like Rob said, only re-heat the lens and use the original glue...
