Title: T piece wanted
Post by: Hannah Judes Dad on 31 December 2010, 18:03:33
Has anyone got the air line T piece that goes on the back of the bagpipes as I have snapped mine off earlier today. It's for a '96 2.5 V6 auto. The T piece is held on with two torx bolts and isn't very big, there is also another airline that goes in to the box of tricks that the T piece belongs to.

Sorry I am unable to provide a picture at the moment. It's attached to the ram air system on the lower part it is between the middle and right of the plastic tubes as you look at the car(these two go up to the plenum via the elbow hoses). It's not the square plastic box on the lower left as you look at the car.I am probably getting people banging their heads against a brick wall at the moment,I'm sorry.

Connecting some small pipes (3mm)? These are vac pipes, and the T piece splits the vac (from the lower vac tank) to the front and rear multirams.

It sounds like TB has hit the nail on the head with my poor description.I should have paid more attention with my description and posted the number that is on the broken part (D'oh !) it is 90466214 if that helps. There is also a small electrical connector on the bottom of it that should have mentioned as well.I am sure I would forget my head sometimes if it wasn't attached.  :-[

The T piece is attached to the vacuum delay unit using the piece that is pointing down on the picture. The small part that is pointing down is the bit that has snapped and is inside the T piece. It looks like I need the delay unit as well then.
