Title: Bamboo
Post by: miggy on 08 August 2007, 19:43:45
We bought a pot of bamboo back last year, potted it on to the garden a few months later, at the moment it is like something out of the Triffids (for those of you who know that film).

Question, can this be cut back, if so to what level and what time of year.

First result of a google / UK.

Not read it, but there is a page on what/how/when....    :y

Why not dig it up and sell it.  looks to get a fair price, those larger species.....

We've got one of these weeping willow type trees, and with the global climate change, there is no definate winter, so the **** thing just keeps growing. Several times we have scalped it to within an inch of its life, but it regards this as a challange and grows even faster. I recon a flamethrower is next :-X
