Post by: tunnie on 13 August 2007, 16:43:31
Me: - Yes i would like to order some parts under our Trade Club company bla...

Vx: - Let me get a a pad...... yes sir what would you like?

Me: - An oil cooler kit for a 2.5 V6 please

Vx: - Whats an oil cooler kit? A gasket set??

Me: - Explains carmly... what it is.

Vx: - Ohh she says, sorry don't know much about engines!  :o

Me: - The rings with the kit, are they rubber, and is the sealant grey?

Vx: - Dunno what ever comes with the kit!

I also asked about the CD insert tray for the 2006 headunit in the Elite, after 5 mins of explaining it to her and lots of ermmms and ahhs, she explained the same way I did to another guy!

Finally came back saying thats £357..... no i explained i just want the insert tray! - 5 mins later, thats £58 for that Sir...

Ohh the fun

tunnie, the oil cooler kit will comprise just of oil cooler, cooler plate, 2 nuts, and the washers for cooler.

You will need new dowty washers for coolant bridge (metal and rubber washers), and grey sealant.  Plus any inlet gaskets that may not survive...

The dealer will insist the kit doesn't exist, which is why you need to quote part number for kit.
