Title: Estate rear centre latch.
Post by: Olympia5776 on 28 August 2011, 19:15:33
I'm in great need of the centre latch for the estate rear seat after it decided to break today.
Some photos below but it's accessed by peeling back the carpet covering on the "40 " rear seat and undoing the two torx set screws that retain it. the lever is held on by two lugs and should be able to be removed with long nosed pliers. I just need the latch mechanism so if the lever breaks that doesn't matter.
It's a little thing but getting a replacement seat for an estate is pretty difficult over here in Ireland as few were sold and due to the weight of them shipping would be expensive.
Can anyone help ? as the alternative is a garden shed bolt  :(

Twiglet broke an estate recently - he might be worth a try.
Istr elite pete also breaking an estate, so he may be another possibility. :-/
