Have been told the late 3.2 ones are steel rather than alloy, anyone, otherwise its a trip to the Vx dealer.

As far as I understand it, all V6 oil coolers are stainless steel with the exception of the very very early cars.

I would buy new to be honest. All v6 oil coolers are now the same, as Andy B says, early ones were steel (not stainless), but these are no longer available.

Thanks both, yea I know what your saying about new TB, pretty much was my train of thought anyway but I thought I;d ask, you never know, 'Ive got one laying around somewhere and it was only ever fitted for 2 weeks' blah, blah.
