Someone has passed on a mobile number, believing it to be mine.

It was, in fact, my girlfriends number that was passed on.

I don't mean to have a moan, but I'd rather her number wasn't circulated. In future, if you need my number, PM me and I'll send it to you.

I think you have every right to moan James

Dont think its on passing peoples number about without asking the owner first

I assume a number given to me is done so in confidence, so never forwarded except under direst emergency...

I sometimes get calls from my office.....saying that another driver has called asking for my mobile number.....they never give it and either get their permission to pass on their mobile number to me or ask if its ok to give mine out......think its summat to do with data protection......
