I was a Senator owner for best part of 8 years - a '93 24v - but have had to say goodbye to it as it was getting a bit expensive, in bodywork, to keep on the road.
Now I have a '98 Irmscher Elite - something a bit different as there dont appear many on the road - especially down south.
I hope it does me as well as the Senator did - I did 170k in it without incident.
I am looking forward to a long association with the car and with fellow Omega owners on this forum.

Hi Peter and welcome to the forum :y

Hello & welcome :)

Welcome to the site :)
Just keep an eye on the top of the doors, and treat any rust before it becomes a problem.
With the free advice available here, you should be able to keep in excellent mechanical order.
I would recommend regular oil changes - I do mine every 3 - 4k, just as it starts to turn darker. Only costs about a tenner to do, so worth it ;)

HI there & Welcome :)

Hi Peter,
welcome to the site ... your motor looks suspiciously like one that was on ebay a few months ago!
Drove past Ashford today on the way to Folkestone ... I'm in Chatham ....
Key thing to bear in mind is the cambelt & tensioners - make sure they're changed every 40k or 4 years - whichever comes sooner - it's the tensioner that usually goes and throws the belt which can end up being a rather expensive repair!!
Keep on top of the maintenance - and especially the tin worm - and the V6 should easily match the mileage of your senny ...
