Hello all............I've been looking at my screen for ages trying to work out how to post myself onto the newbies page........I'm not sure if I have achieved this, if I have, Hello!
I have recently bought my first Omega. It's 2.5 V6 Auto on an 'S'. It's done 85000 miles. The CAM belts and tensioners replaced at 68000. A few spots of rust on the N/S rear passenger door and also O/S rear wheel arch. Very clean motor. It's been sitting for a year on my neighbour's drive whilst he was abroad. Paid 800.00 quid as he is going away again - bargain?
Once I fit a new battery what do you suggest I need to do in terms of oil changes etc........I want to drive it from Tuesday, MOT is Monday.
If I have entered this on a wrong page I am sorry.....................could you direct me?
cheers, drive safe.

Hi Kumaka and welcome to the place for all things Omega :)
I'd suggest posting your question in the gereral help section, I'm sure one of the 2.5 owners will be along shortly to help.
Meanwhile, enjoy all this forum has to offer and good luck with the MOT next week :y
Cheers Jim

Welcome to the forum :)
Thanks for introducing yourself :)
What model is it - GLS, CD, CDX, Elite etc?
Best to keep technical queries to 'Omega General Help' :y
I personally change my oil and filter every 3 - 4k, and use genuine Vx parts and Vx Semi-Synth oil (nice and cheap on Trade Club)
