Hi All

Had my 1999 Omega 2.0 CDX LPG since 2000 and as you will see from a post in the general pages I have a few problems with the heating etc.

But all in all I love this big old beast, I have a little rust starting on the top of the 2 drivers side doors, nothing drastic yet but it is one of the most comfortable motors I have had.

Got 98000 on the clock at the moment and is used daily to work etc.

Anyway heres too many more miles of motoring.

Take it easy all  8-)

Hi there and welcome to the forum  :)

I've got a 2ltr with lpg conversion as well, can I ask what sort of MPG you are getting on gas?

Cheers Jim

Hi Jim

At the present I am getting approx 30 miles to the gallon, sometimes a bit better on a long run.
I had to get the gas distributor thingy changed a few months back as the diaphragms had perished and it kept switching back to petrol.
Since this has been done (touch wood) it hasn't switched once, at lot has been said about the loss of power with gas but for what I need from a car it is not noticable too much.

Now all I need to do is get my heating sorted out , going to work in my better halfs car tomorrow as she is shopping with her friend in Newcastle, could be expensive methinks!!

I may have to bite the bullet and put the beast into our local VX dealer to find out what the problem is with the heater, can't get any of the vents to open.

Anyway, this area is for new members to say hello and not whinge about the cost (rip off ) of main dealers.

Take it easy all!!

Thanks 1908pools, mine struggles to get low twenties around town  :( Could be the fact that it's an estate with the auto box.

Cheers Jim
