good post Hotel21  :y

Some of us 'more experienced' Omega owners would know this but the poor unsuspecting who is entering into the world of luxury Vauxhall ownership this could give them the background knowledge they need on thier purchase

'IRS' certainly gives it all away.

BTW why does everyone say they have 2mph increments when I can clearly see 1mph markings on hotel's photo - surely not a resolution issue.  Perhaps they are only cal'd to 2mph.

JohnM - you are quite correct ( :-[) the pic does show 1 mph increments.  Reason that its often quoted as 2 mph is that on some, usually older, cars the speedo is so physically small that the 2 mph increments are all that there is space for.

I have always been taught that those who are being dealt with for speeding by means of 'tracking' (where the speed of the following Police vehicle is used as the speed of the offending vehicle as its maintained at a constant distance behind) should be shown in even numbers (between, say, 44 and 48 mph) as thats all thats available on the speedohead.

Wording of picture post now modified!    :y
