Hiya guys, just stumbled across your forum, and its spot on cos i just bought i 2.5td cdx estate last week and am trying to find other ppl who think it is an ace car!!
Im pretty amped on modding it up cos its a bit slow and a bit shyte around corners so it could be something of a project i guess.
Thanks for having me and ill no doubt be be begging for some help soon!

Howdoo Platty, welcome to the forum.
Check out some of the other recent threads here as regards the handling, probable that the geometry need setting but there are other things to check and consider first such as tyre pressures initially, then shocks, springs, wishbones etc.
As to performance, again, several things can restrict the car. Post up in the help sections and no doubt someone will assist where they can.
Also, the search facility, whilst not the bestest, can reveal some gems to get your car up and running better.
Post up your location and more car details when you get a chance. No doubt there is someone close who can give you a hands on assist if required.

Welcome to the site :)
If you've come from FWD, the Omega, like most RWD, may seem a little soft. It should still go round corners very well though ;)
Geometry (highly recommend Wheels-InMotion in Watford, and mention OmegaOwners Club for a bit of discount), tyres, and general suspension/steering are all vital.
In the 2.5, putting in 3.0l cams gives a good boost...
