Hi folks,
Ive been lurking on this forum a while whilst Ive been looking for an Omega to replace my old Cavalier. Ive just picked up a 2.5 facelift CDX estate and brought it the 300 miles back home... and its still working ;-) Very comfortable drive but it wanders at speed so new wishbones are probably in order.
I didnt think the CDX came with Bose gear, but on startup the display for the CCR2006 says 'Bose Sound' briefly. Have I got Bose audio? If so, what does that mean? Havent been able to find any amps hidden away on a brief look so far. Either way the audio is pretty good.
Economy is about what I expected, I might do a LPG conversion before too long...
Anyway - hello to you all,
Jon

Welcome to the site.
You may have Bose (optional extra on CDX), or maybe the screen is misconfigured. On an estate, if you have Bose, there will be a single speaker in the load area.

Cheers for the warm welcome!
I looked in the load area and no sign of any speakers anywhere so no Bose methinks!
Got myself some wishbones on order to get this handling sorted out and will be digging into the maintenance guides for the crankcase breather cleanout. Job for tonight...

Hi Jon and welcome.

hi and welcome to OOF :)
on the estate, if you stand at the back of the car facing the front, the sub is in the left-hand cubby hole (before wheel arch), the amp is in the right-hand cubby hole. If they're both empty then definitely no bose system ...
