Looks like the MV6 was stationary and then struck by something big and heavy.

Judging by the crease on the passenger wing, it will need checking on a jig.

Also, looks like the water header tank is empty so probably radiator/hoses/AC will be troubled as well.....

i have seen a few of these that are mega low mileage.

I wonder if whatever hit the car shunted it into an obkect on the NS, hence the dented wing.

Still,  would take some time and money to turn it around

I think by the time you've forked out for parts and materials on that one the total cost would be more than the cars worth even if you did the work yourself. the Porche ad quotes the bhp of the car I don't think so when it hasn't got an engine :D

Possibly true......

but to break it would get far more that your purchase price, if that mileage is true then there is a mint engine and box, some lovely cowhide that has hardly beren sat in and then the panels themselves

the biggest issue is the cost of parts to put it right, just looking at it you can bet on the following:

OS leg,
OS wishbone
ARB
Hub assembly
OS steering tie rods
Wheel
Wings x2
bumper complete
splash guard
OS door
OS sill protector
OS mirror
OS door & wing mouldings
OS headlamp
OS headlamp moulding

Plus paint and potential jigging, that wheel looks too far forward

TBH it would be worth trying to get a prefacelift Elite/MV6 that's being broken and making one out of the two cars,

So £995 for the MV6, say £500 for a donor car, and the best part of 1k for paint and labour, poss more if jigging required.

What's a MV6 worth these days £3k on a good day?

it would be ok if you were looking to keep the car and run it for serious mileage

i have been looking into it myself, for me it might be ideal......

If i could get it back on the road for £1500 plus purchase then it would fit the bill, have an LPG conversion done and then drive it for 100k......

Just trying to find out if it does need jigging

Not even close mate, certainly not an automatic pre-facelift. Personally I think it's way overpriced with that damage, mileage may be low but that doesn't hold much sway in my book, there's still no guarantee it's been maintained.

Jim on this forum recently picked up a nice MV6 with Irmscher bodykit for less than £800!

No way its worth that kind of money, that front wheel looks well out of line so major steering / suspension issues likely. Could you trust it if it hasn't been checked in a jig, I'm bloody sure I couldn't.
Think I'd look to spend a bit more and get a clean example thats roadworthy.

A good auto prefacelift £1500 - £2000 if advertised correctly...

part of the attraction with this was the ultra low miles, and looking at the pics there seems to be a lot of supporting evidence.......

Been talking to a few people over the last few days about this, but i was looking at getting it, putting it back on the road, gassing it and then using it as my business transport, allowing me to sell the Elite and get something for personal use.

we reckoned if no jigging was required then 1K would see it on the road again, it doesn't say if the damage is recorded, if it is then that will add extra cost on because it will most likely have to be inspected

I was basing everything on it being worth 2.5-3k if it isn't then that changes things a lot........

there is a 48,000 miler MV6 for sale on here for 2k, shame it hasn't got leather though

When I was looking for mine there were quite a few I passed by (because they were auto) that were at the lower end of that scale, and that was almost 2 years ago now. If you can get that for an auto, then I should easily get a fair bit more than that for mine, being a manual with SGI dual-fuel installation, which realistically I can't see happening.

I can't complain though, the savage depreciation is what attracted me to the Omega in the first place.

There was a 2.0L facelift 71,000 on the clock with the front smashed in on the same website need loads of work doing and he wanted £1000

The engine & gearbox must be worth 500 squid though (presuming they're tip-top)

with only 18,000 miles on it i would expect it to be.

leather has got to be worth £200 at least, it would be mint

3 doors, 1 zenon h/lamp/ 3 immac mv6 rims, spoilered boot.......you are in profit

The manual adds nothing to value - many people looking for Omegas will be looking for autos remember.

The SGI does add value, but there is obviously a ceiling for an Omega with 100k+ on a certain age car
