Hello to everyone
I am new to the site and have a 2001 CDX Omega estate. The car is fitted with a CDR2005 stereo but the reception i get from it is rubbish, only picks up radio 1 clearly and am looking to update it to a CCRT 2008.Will this be able to slot straight in and will i still be able to use the steering controls for the radio etc. Finally does anyone know where i can pickup a CCRT2008 stereo from.
Thanks it looks like a great site glad i found it

Welcome to the site :)
Post the stereo Q in the ICE and Electrical section for best coverage ;)
If you have a saloon, make sure the inside of your rear window is clean, as the aerial is integrated into heated element...

Welcome to the site, as you have an estate could be the aerial or connector, but as said post in the ice portion of the site. :y

Hi Kieran and welcome to the site.
The two vertical lines on your rear window are the ones for the aerial so make sure they are not broken in any way. I have a CDR2005 and the reception is far better than my wife's Meriva, which wanders a lot. ;)
