hello to all , in the past three or so weeks i have changed the oil ,oil filter ,air filter ,sparks, fuel filter ,break pads ,and just today the polin filter ,i think that is all to do ?or im i missing somthing as every other day the service light comes on , can i myself DIY it to stop it coming on ,if so can someone help or is it a job for vauxhall , 2001 2.2 cd :) :)

As said above, post it in the 'general help' section but, I've got the same car as you and it doesn't have a 'service' light. If the light you mean is the one with the spanner running through it then that is the engine management light that tells you that you have a fault. You will need to get it a garage that has a Tech2 diagnostic machine to check what it is. Out of interest, the last time I had this and it stayed on all the time it was the Mass Airflow Sensor, there were no other symptoms.
