Title: 1 good mpg

just back from york with the caravan,4 bikes,2 smalls,1 wife,& fully loaded  done this on 1/2 a tank average 29 mpg no bad thing :)

Aye, towing doesn't half sap it though! Our box van trailer brings it down to about 32, 30mpg at worst.

Though when the motor is running tip-top, we can easily see 48mpg.

Where in York did you get to?

That must be one of the reasons they phased it out all those years ago  :P

i got 18 towing to berwick upon tweed great 3.0 elite 3 kids getting big misses and full load even more full comming back arghhh shopping ;D

Not phased out - towing a van at road limits up and down the hills in Cornwall & Devon 16mpg on gas is fine for a V6 auto - compared to the 17mpg on petrol the 2.0 used to do.

41p a litre is not bad equivalent to over 35mpg on petrol.

Completely depends on what you want and what you get

Start at bits off a scrapper to £2000

Look at 6 cylinder kits on Ebay

I wouldn't mind fitting one as I have a Texaco that sells LPG just a mile up the road from me.
And it's only 42.9p a Litre, but I don't think I could stretch to 2 bags of sand!
I'll check ebay out though.
