Hello everybody,
I am from Holland, 63 of age, and live in the Flevo-polder, 5 mtrs. below sea level. :-[
I bought an 2002 Omega 2.2 LPG automatic, and it will be delivered next week.
Hope I can do all the maintenance by myself, have to learn quite a lot about the Omega,, so will spent the free-time in reading this forum, must buy an cheapy code-reader, don't know which one.
regards, flevoman.

A submarine? Well, never thought about that. :)
It is not mine first LPG car.
Have driven LPG from 1973-1998, and from 1998 till now, TDI.
LPG: Fiat 128 twice.
Peugeot 504 twice.
BMW 1502.
Renault 18
Lada 1300. (just one year, very reliable, but a little bit boring)
Volvo 240 twice.
All the cars bought second-hand (off course) the Volvo's sold with nearly 400.000km on the clock.
Installed the LPG kit on several cars by myself, was very easy, no electronics.

Opel has always been very popular in Holland, but only the smaller ones.
Big Opel's never, it has all to do with "status" (keeping up appearances). May be 10 years ago, a very well known person in Holland, had an serious accident in a carpark, killed a woman, and he blamed the cruise control. Off course it was b..s.., but it didn't do any good to the Omega. :-[
