Title: new omega owner
Post by: omegasheffield on 30 October 2007, 21:09:35
I've just bought a 2.2 petrol auto (52 plate) cdx -  28k (prety sure that this is genuine) - in pristine condition. It was a bit of a wrench to get rid of the Audi A4 2.5 tdi which was into its 9th year. This is a very different driving experience but family like the space and the heated seats!
So I have just discovered this site and would appreciate any tips from experts about things to look out for on this main dealer serviced omega

thanks
H

Welcome to the forum :y

First job, if it's been dealer maintained is to clean out the throttle body and breathers.

Follow the guide here:- http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1162397695

It's a quite straightforward job, and it will keep your engine running sweet.
