I know why I would want one:

'...Hmmm, the car has two engines making the car a hybrid so maybe we can drive in the commuter lanes along with the Toyota Priuses.'

Because it will be Congestion Charge exempt!  :)

Could have hidden the jet under the number plate like a James Bond car. Would prove very handy at the traffic lights.  ;)

I'd like to see him accidentally shut the windows and sunroof with the turbine running! Reckon the car would implode ;D

I wouldnt keep any parking money in the car...

OK, I saw the grill covering the intake, so he obviusly thought aboout this already (plus he didnt fancy being sucked in to the engine!).

Very good, detailed work..But bad design...I can not imagine if he tries full throttle...Windows and sunroof is not adequate for air coming in..Batmans car was much more better and logical..

Things to consider before attempting this at home…

Does it invalidate VW’s manufacturer’s warranty?

Does the insurance company need to be informed?

How do you modify the rear parking sensors to suit?

How do you make sure that after re-fuelling the aft-burner is not used until clearing the patrol station forecourt?

Where do you pack your suitcase if you go on holiday?

It looks like a complete freak,  :-/i hate the look of it >:( looks like a big d*ck sticking out the back

may be fun to put it on full throttle, but would not want to be seen dead in it, what by the way would

probably happen if they stuck that thing on full boost :o :o
