Hello there everyone! I just bought my second omega last week and I think this forum looks great. I now have a 2.5i v6 estate and I absolutely love it. It just drives so fantasticly. The only problem is that it never heats up and the heater always blows cold but I will enter this into the problems section like I am supposed to. Men seem to look at me when I'm driving my lovely car like women aren't supposed to drive big cars, but I'm 6 foot and need a big car! Anyway, i like omegas and cars in general! Happy driving. Kate

Thanks for all your welcome messages! Oof is very helpful and enjoyable. I'm pleased it's not called the private omega owners forum or I would have thought it was a different forum altogether!
Thanks again.

By the way, yes I am a makem!
I would obviously recommend getting an omega. I think an estate would be better if you have a baby to get the pram in etc. When I bought my last omega the guy said he was selling it as it was a saloon and he couldn't get the pram in it. The boot was big though so it would be worth checking before you buy.

just as a note to anyone thinking of buying an omega - you can indeed get a pram in the boot of a saloon, wev'e got a big sivercross classic pram that the missus insited on buying and when you take the pram off the chassis they'll fit in side by side :)
what am i talking about??? i joined this forum to talk about the best big fast car on the road not bloody prams ;D ;D ;D

Sorry HerefordElite
I like fast omegas as well, I don't know why I'm talking about prams either as my daughter is sixteen and is 5 foot 6!

You must have heard of a Geordie? Well, a makem is a bit like a geordie but much better looking and intelligent and they reside in the affluent Sunderland in mansions and castles. When our omegas are getting a service we get out the Ferrari for a little spin but are very happy when we get our omega back!
-
Howdoo Kate, welcome to OOF. Looks like you are getting the answers you are looking for elsewhere. Good stuff!! :y

I will consider my response to that, as a Geordie, originally. ;D ;D ;D
