Title: Tools - Clic
Post by: iggy21uk on 20 August 2007, 19:46:31
Some of the hoses use clic or clic -r clips to retain them.
Done a search on the internet / ebay [lower start price outbid + post]  the best price I found is £12.64 inc vat & PP.

Draper expert tool : 89791

Final got it from: www.toolshopdirect.co.uk

Found the tool cheaper on other sites  then added  VAT + postage -was more expensive

Other option change to Jubilee clips.

I just use a pair of these (http://www.toolshopdirect.co.uk/item.php/store/5/c1/103/c2/408/sn/43793). They do the job at a fraction of the price.  :)

I'm not sure the pipe wrench (or mole wrench) would do the job on the clic type clips - but then the only ones I recall coming across on the Omega were on the 2 thick breather hoses.  I think the usual Omega ones are called tag type, amongst other more colourful names ;D
