looking to buy one, and dont like front wheel drive cars! 8-)

whats the best one to get? i'd like the new facelift model in silver hopefully.. dont want it to drink juice like my range rover used to though..

checkout the for sales on here ask a few questions all willing to help i have 2.0 auto estate and find i thirsty but saying that others like the 2.5 v6 and seem to get good mpg browse the site and see for yourself

Hi Curly and welcome to OOF. :)
The best one to get depends on what you want from a car. On facelift models there are 2.2 4 cylinder, 2.6 V6, 3.0 V6 or 3.2 V6 petrol engines variants. If you want smoothness and power but not too thirsty I'd go for the 2.6 V6. Alternately, there's the 2.5 oil burner.

Welcome aboard. 2.0 autos can be juicy. Been told 2.5 manuals are reasonable on fuel. I get 24 ish on average use, 35 on a run. If going for a diesel beware of the autos, the box isn't the strongest (so i've heard on here) Also don't believe what your fuel display tells you. It might be right but best to put say £20 in, zero the trip & check your mileage when your gauge is back where it stared.
They all chew the juice a bit but it's worth it! :y

Omega's have the "dual Drive" system fitted as standard on the automatic version.........Engage "D" and they are rear wheel drive, Engage "R" and they are front wheel drive ;D ;D
