To me, its to reduce the probability of someone becoming a member here simply to 'tout their wares' then dissappear back into t'interweb......

id agree with chap above ....

saves the site owners having issues with unknown peeps trying to sell  :y
i good idea to encourage someone to interact with the site before adding a car for sale gives a possible buyer the chance to get a picture of what the seller is all about ...

cheers al
:)

Despite this affecting me (I wanted to post my Omega) I agree with the policy.

I joined for all the right reasons...  but didn't keep my Omega as I just couldn't afford to fix it.

NB
Hence why I wanted to sell it here (so it would go to someone who would appreciate it rather than some fly by night bloke looking to make a quick buck)...  Instead it went on ebay.

But if you change the policy you'll just get hounded by people selling all sorts of cr@p clogging up your message boards...

Keep up the good work guys and thanks for all the advice.
