Title: engine electronics warning light

Hi everybody was hoping someone may be able to spread some light on a problem i am having with my 2lt r-reg omega,the past couple of days the engine electronics warning light has come on,when this has happened i have turned the engine off and restarted and it has always gone out with seemly no effects on the running of the car,but today i was driving when the revs dipped and the light came on,so i pulled over and the revs were going up and down so i turned the engine off and restarted and again no problems again for thr rest of the day,but am guessing there may be problems ahead so would like to sort it before it lets me down  :-/
