Hi guys,
New to this and a women so you will have to have a little patience, just bought an s/99 omega put the cd code in and it has come up on the display safe, looked in the manual and it says i have to take it to a dealer, is there any other way round that???
Also the engine ticks over when i try to start it but it does not always start if i have just switched the engine off i have to leave it about five mins i dont know if anyone has any ideas.
Hope someone out there is brave enough to try and help me.

Hello & Welcome :y
Asuming the code entry procedure has been followed correctly, and you are no out of goes, Dave DND, found in the ICE section can likely help.
The other fault sounds like it needs the codes reading to see what is going on, there is a guide on how to do this with a paperclip.

Thanks for your reply Jimbob.

"Hello" and Welcome :)
If you ask your questions in "General Help" you may get more answers as more of the resident "expeerts" read that than here :)
As said .. Dave DND is the resident expert on in car entertainment, he'll know if you have any log-in tries left, or what can be done if you haven't :(
"paperclip" how to can be found here :

One thing to check ... does the EML - Engine management light - car with a spanner sticking out of the roof - come on for a few seconds when you turn the ignition on without starting the car ?? It is not unknown for the bulb to be removed so unsuspecting folk don't realise a problem exists .. :(
