What is a reasonable price to pay for a cambelt change on a 2.5 V6 Auto. Just had a quote off Vauxhall £385 seem a bit pricy :- :-?

Hello & Welcome :y
Parts are just over £100, couple of hours labour....
so yes, does seem a bit dear.
Make sure you get the full kit inc tensioners changed, and may as well have the waterpump done as well for about an extra £20 (only 3 bolts once you are down that far)

"Hello" and Welcome :)
You can even buy a DVD which shows you how to change the cambelt properly !! You MUST have the correct setting tools, so if you stick your car details and location in your profile it is always visible, and someone near you may have the right tools to help :y :y

welcome to OOF. I paid £397, but they did the water pump as well and coolant.
I should have asked members of OOF to do it ,but i had only just joined. Ask them. :y :y
