Dear all
I have finally given up the delights of 6-cylinder RWD...
Sold the old warhorse (2.5 TD 1998) for a Peugeot 607 (sorry all!)
I relly miss the tail flicking out on wet corners and kicking down gears at 95mph but...she was just too frail in the end...and thirsty!
Anyway, just wanted to say that this was the friendliest and most entertaining owner's forum on the web. Goodbye and goodluck to all...and if Vx ever make another decent 6-cyl RWD exec salood I'll be right back with you all

Maybe see you around. You take care too :y

Evening Doc. A familiar scenario methinks. ::) Good as the 607 is you'll miss the Mig if you really luv 'em. Find a newer lower mileage one & other than the fuel, all the help folks give me when mine needs a "fettle" outweigh the fuel costs. :)
As far as i'm concerned, no need to be a stranger, you can still join in, a newer Mig will catch your eye before long! ::)

Take care and pop back now and then :y

Bye & good luck with your 607 - wont be the same as an Omega :(

Stick around, you don't need to have a mig to keep in touch. The ABS website just expects members to "have an interest" in the appropriate cars.
Good luck with the PUG. I have a 306 D-Turbo and whilst it ain't a miggy it is a damn good runaround for keepign the fuel bills down. I only use my miggy for longer trips or when I want some comfort.

Goodbye and good luck to you Dr Jones, and hopefully you will be back! :y :y
Mind you there is no reason why you cannot still be a member of the OOF, keeping up to date with information on the Omega or more importantly the good friendly gossip on all other subjects by us crew! 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

if it werent for insurance i'd definately get myself another elite (facelifts going as cheap as £1000 now) and keep it for weekends/long runs and keep the corsa for work!

Good luck with the Pug. If the withdrawal symptoms get too bad, give in and buy another Mig :y

All the best .. I'm sure you'll return when you realise what you are missing .. ;) ;) ;) ;)

Take care Dr Jones, happy motoring.

Best of luck Doc. :y I hope you have more luck with the 607 than I had with my previous 605. ::)

Good luck Dr J. As said, why not keep in touch. There are several Oofer's who don't actually have a mig all the time. 8-)
