Just read a link from another forum, apparently the rule on fuel duty where changed in June. you can now legally make 2,500 ltrs of bio fuel without paying duty :y basic diy "home brew kits start at about £700 and if you talk nicely to your local takeaways and restaurants you could get the oil free :) on average 2,500 ltrs will give about 40,000 miles of motoring per year. Sounds good to me!! Aparently it does not suit all engine but well worth checking out

Ive been using Rapeseed oil in the wife Rover wheezle for about 6 months but I dont think its any good for the Omega.

S'okayish in petrols but can cause varnish on modern deisels with expensive results. that why biodeisel cars from manufaturers cost a lot more than standard deisels You have been warned :)
I think old style deisels are less suseptical to problems. :y

Yes but it would be called silage and only good as a fuel if you swapped the miggy for a bullock cart.
