Been recommended a couple of brilliant albums recently, so I thought I would see what we are listening to...
My current favourites...
30 Seconds To Mars. - A beautiful Lie (Maybe a bit "emo" in places, no bad thing, but a superb album with an awesome first track!)
Muse. - Black Holes And Revelations. (These guys just keep getting better and better!)
The Editors. - An End Has A Start. (Depressing, overtones of Joy Division. and bl**dy excellent)
The Fray. - How To Save A Life. (If you like Coldplay, Keane, Snow Patrol, you will love this!)
My Chemical Romance. - The Black Parade. (The masters of Emo getting more commercial with their best album yet!)
The Enemy. - We'll Live And Die In These Towns. (If you like the Jam, you MUST buy this! If you don't... you still should!)

Right now -whilst at work :o - and listening to a mix on the ipod of a DJ called Richie Hawtin live at recent T in the Park......fantastic bleepy techno 8-)
4 of my 6 discs in the MV6 have Police albums in them, the other two are Aphex twin... ;D
-
In my CD player I have a (no laughing please)
Northern Soul compilation
1980 Electronic compilation
U2 Greatest Hits
a SKA compilation
Black Eyed Peas, Monkey Business
a 1990s Ibiza Anthems CD
-
The Bravery - The Sun And The Moon
-
Whilst surfing the net I'm currently listening to:
Counting Crows - Across a Wire (Live in New York)
on a chrome cassette.
Although I've plenty of CD's, I still prefer my cassettes for some reason.
Whenever I buy a CD, the first thing I do is usually copy it to a Chrome cassette.
The sound quality is good and a Chrome cassette will outlast a CD in my opinion.
I copied the Counting Crows CD back in 1997, and it sounds as good today
as it did 10 years ago. :)
-
I have a right mix - I have a couple of CDs with 10 CDs worth of MP3s on and tons of MDs
Other CDs are CDDA
-
nouvelle vaugue
-
Lets see
disc 1 the golliaz
disc2 best barbeque album in the world
disc3 Madonna's greatest
disc4 Elvis p's greatest
disc5 the Beatles
disc6 Compilation with loads of my fav driving music, Motorhead, Queen, Some James Bond themes
Iron Maiden, all that sort of stuff. 8-)
Hey i'm over 40 now i'm entitled to listen to "whats this rubbish daddy" according to my 5 year old twins ;D ;D
-

Oldies are making a comeback too...
I was in a store earlier this week and found myself listening to "Bark at the Moon" by Ozzy. I had it on cassette when I passed my test, tear arsing around in my dad's 950cc Fiesta Popular Plus and I must have it again.
Remastered at Play.com for just £6.99 :o
Change of heart...just ordered "Ultimate Sin" for £5.75 instead :y
Edit. Only £4.79 when I came to pay
