Morning to everyone. I have just registered here  after googling help for an alarm that keeps going off. I am 44 years old and have a small courier business, based near Cambridge. I have owned my Omega 2.5 v6 1998 for just over 2 years and have spent a small fortune on it ! Good job I bought it relatively cheeply. I must stress at this point that I am completely hopeless with anything to do with cars , mechnics etc , so I am in the hands of the local garage everytime , who  I might add are very goods lads. I was awoken 3 am friday night as the car was making a strange noise , managed to, with the help of my neighbour who had also been woken up by it , to shut it up by disconnecting the battery. After reading  various stuff on the internet I am led to think it is the power sounder , which is being looked at next week. I belong to various other forums and am well aware of the protocul of posting in wrong areas. I have two other problems I would like to run by the board , can someone pls tell me the best place / area to head to for advice. Looking forward to making new friends on here , many thanks. Dave

If your problem is electrical or connected to the sound system then post it in Electrical/ICE otherwise post it in the general help section :y

Ladies & Gents , what can I say , me and my neighbour ( well him actually I just passed the tools ! ) have just unplugged the offending article , job done. Thank you all very very much just saved me another garage bill, I think it was Rob who posted the picture links , PERFECT so many thanks to all. I wish I had found this site 2 years ago ! The Omega is the nicest car I have ever owned , got all the toys , I love it , just a shame I have a few rust bubbles appearing now, still it doesn't affect the car performance or the interior . Take care all . Dave  :) :y

Hi Dave, welcome to the forum. Unlike many other car forums, this one isn't just to problem solve (even then, some of the others aren't very good at that either ... but I digress....). Pop into General Chat and have a bit of a laugh or moan about .. well .. anything really. They are a great bunch here, very helpful and most of them don't bite!!!  :y
