I have an omega elite and am having trouble with the cost of running it,this is bearing in mind at the moment my wages are down by a third on last year, but I refused to sell it considering it's low value against the standard of car and it has been my dream to have an omega elite new shape for years and I managed to realise this just a year ago. This car just had an MOT at 54,00 miles (2001) with no advisories. Please any advice to make a more economical proposition would be welcome cos it looks nice on my drive , but I am hardly driving it

"Hello" and Welcome :)

just had look at your car. looks great. will post picks of mine soon. as you appreciate I am new. LPG is where I would like to go, but I think cost is a bit high for conversion
-
Plenty of info and advice on here about maintaining/repairing/servicing etc; which should help keep your running costs down. :y
-
will keep whatever, but at the moment even fuel is a problem for me. Trying to run 2.6 V6 on £20 a week fuel. Last year was filling it up as nessecary. Bloody credit crunch !!! :-[
-
My LPG conversion was expensive as I had it done professionally. Several Forum members have gone the DIY route and done it for well under a grand .. about £700 I think plus 3-4 days work ..
-
also a trivial matter all my heated seats work except the drivers. I have tested to the switch and have power. I have tested the switch and it works so what next ??? and any info about cheap lpg conversions welcome
