Hello, just acquiring an extremely well looked after 1997 2.5 TD CD Saloon. First timer for any Vauxhall let alone an Omega despite driving and biking for 30+ years.
Read loads on here already, thanks for it all.
My tech understanding level is high but is cancelled out by a near total inability to use spanners without tearing my hands to shreds. :D
Cheers!

Hello and welcome :) Don't worry spanners are vicious weapons specially designed to hurt hands :y

Thanks for the great welcome, got the insurance cert through so pickup tomorrow. Will attempt a pic at some point.
As for the tractor comment, reminds me of a Range Rover I had for a short time, had a chuff chuff type perkins diesel dropped in. It could climb a cliff in 4th but would not go over 45 mph, hence only had it a short time, my patience ran out on journeys over 50 miles- except on cliffs ofc. :o
