Hi, new to this group , but what I have seen looks good - have used several threads to play with engine  ( rather than a manual) - so hope it will keep my 2.5 CDX 'X' Reg estate on the road, got it for a very good price off the company ( gaskets for rocker cover  etc. cost more than the car!)

I got the car a few months ago, ( used to have it as a company car 4 years ago) - so know the history - basically - tyres, pads etc. - some minor teething problems at present - but with looking at the threads etc. which are very good - practical and realistic. - if my teething probs are not resolved in the next two months will probably come asking.

Sounds like you got a good deal then! Only thing to check is the history of the cam belt... every 4 yrs or 40k miles which occurs first.  :)

Cambelt i think was last done at 80k when i last had car - its coming up to 113,000 so will have to think about sorting it soon ( in the summer when its still warm) - currently awaiting a replacement MAF - as current one had a little mishap ( learning curve!)
