Title: Desperately searching for...
Post by: sara1983 on 16 April 2009, 15:16:27
Omega diesel estate manual prefer 2.5 diesel as i dont know about the 2.2dti

I have seen a few on ebay and auto trader but there are not many! I would prefer mileage around the 100,000 mark if its the bmw engine service history.

Im very open minded regarding the car although i would prefer it in good condition! If im being picky id like cloth interior and dark not beige!

If any body can help in my search i would be very grateful! I live in Rainham Essex but i will travel good distances for the car that i need desperately!

Very many thanks for your help

Hi and welcome to the site Sara :y

As for being picky, you want the right car for you, but don't rush into buying the first one you see  ;)

I believe there are certain people in the know about diesels on this site that feel the BMW produced diesel engine is not very good! ::) ::)

Anyone else know anything about this? :-? :-?

I would go for the 2.2 diesel personally ;)

So would I :D

I can fully recommend the 2.2, it's Vauxhalls own engine & they're very reliable :y

Oh. Welcome along too :)

Sara,

Welcome to the site. I just sold my 2.2 DTI on Tuesday and have only one recomendation if you get in a bidding war with Welung, bid more than £2.50 a week and you'll walk it. ;D :y.

Good luck with the search.

Steve
