If my previous post was a little too much for this time of day have a look at this (http://www.caravantalk.org.uk/index.php?showtopic=15012) for a little light 'relief'. ::)
Our topics seem quite sophisticated in comparison.

Well, I was really bored as there isn't much going on tonight and I thougth they may give me some hints on servicing the brakes on my rolling road block.
The best bit is the fella who says that a certain brand of bog roll is good for his 'farmers'. ;D ;D ;D
Isn't the internet a brilliant source of useless information?
-
It makes you think if you really want to stay in a field full of people that discuss bog rolls.. ;D :D
-
Sometimes we discuss chemicals.
Toilet chemicals that is. Is blue better that green? What do you use in the flush water? etc etc etc.
Oh the fun we have when caravanning. ;D ;D ;D

Yes, I'd much rather stay in this plaice and talk about important issues that matter to my sole. ;D ;D ;D
If you weren't around here in early August, please ignore this. It's a red herring as far as the thread goes.
-
Funny how this have changed since i used to go caravanning, In them days we dedicated a tree for relief purposes and discussed which pub we would go to oh and whos turn it was to cook breakfast.. ;D
None of these fancy chemical tiolets and showers etc..

I don't understand what is the problem. I am and Andrex man myself, though I might use Velvet if I can't get the proper stuff. But Andrex is not just softer, it also shears properly due to superior perforation, not to mention the perfect hoops.. We are allowed bog roll threads, aren't we? :o
;D

That's all very well, but how does it cope with the farmers? ;)

So, I post a very serious philosphical question that has been troubling learned men for centuries and it slides off the end quicker than a halibut down a greasy pole. But, I post a link to a toilet roll thread on another forum and it gets twice as many replies!!!!
I think I have the measure of you guys now. ;D ;D ;D
-
;DDoes it really matter what bog roll you use as long as you have got something to wipe your as* with ;D
:-*Love :-*

Well, I was in Tesco in St Ives the other day and noticed that they still sell IZAL. For those of you who are old enough you will remember that was the stuff that was as absorbant as grease proof and as comfortable as sandpaper. :'( :'(
That's all we had at school.
-
Used to work for a large, ex-public company, and when I started, they used the standard 'Government Property' smear stuff :o

That stuff must have been invented by commitee. It was absolutely not fit for purpose. :-? :-?

Nah, designed that way. Consider if you were in charge of the civil service - smear wipe cures too issues:
1) People nicking it (must stuff was nicked by employees)
2) Stop people, err, 'doing their business' in works time
Absolutely fit for purpose ;)

I feel much better now. We have our very own toilet roll thread.
Should I rename it so everyone can join in?
;D

Yes go on then :y
