Hi there,

Just like all in this section, just thought I'd say hello.

To introduce myself I am a Vauxhall nut through-and-through, with a particular soft spot for anything big, with six cylinders and a griffin on the front.

I am a trained Car Designer, which is the profession I hope to get into as soon as the recession goes away and there are JOBS again! I graduated a couple of years ago now, from Coventry Uni, but I'm just as proficient in Product / Graphic Design too, so if you know of anything employment-wise, I'd love to hear from you!

I like to think I have a good knowledge of my Vauxhalls, I'm one of those that can tell the model of Omega by the tyre width; so hopefully I can be of use to some of you with those 'I saw an Omega with a lip spoiler, but it wasn't an MV6, so what was it?' questions!

Sorry it's been so long in my replying.

I've been busying myself re-spraying some interior trim - some of which shall be making an appearance on the old man's facelift, some will be for sale shortly - so I'll keep you guys posted as to further developments.

The hint is....has anyone noticed the 'black japanned' effect in Astra VXRs? Now that every car under the sun has silver trim galore I like the way they've gone for a differentr route...

I designed a Car once, bolted a brick wall on the front of the Car, save time parking the front of mine into one later in life.  :y
